Ryan Schmisek has been focusing his practice in family law since 2001, representing clients in divorce, property division, custody, parenting time, spousal maintenance, and child support matters. His experience includes negotiating and litigating family law matters through all stages, including appeals.
Ryan offers a comprehensive and proactive approach, seeking to resolve matters amicably when possible but litigating when necessary. In addition to participating in the Family Law Sections of multiple bar associations, he has been a continuing legal education presenter on Family Law Issues for the Baby Boomer Generation.
He has received a ranking of AV Preeminent®, the highest rating of excellence in the Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™, and has been listed in the “Rising Star” peer-reviewed legal ranking by Super Lawyers for several years. Ryan received his J.D. from Hamline University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota.
