Jonathan Septer is a Shareholder practicing commercial real estate and agricultural law at Messerli Kramer, providing practical, results-driven legal solutions to businesses and individuals.
Jonathan’s focus is commercial real estate, where he works with owners, investors, lenders and closely-held businesses in connection with all phases of the commercial real estate life cycle. Jonathan advises clients on real estate matters related to acquisitions, sales and development; retail, office and industrial leasing; construction contracts; real estate finance; mobile home and manufactured housing; land use; loan workouts; foreclosures; and environmental. His clients also rely on him for guidance on general real estate due diligence, including loan, title and survey matters.
Jonathan also has extensive experience in the agricultural real estate and agribusiness industries, counseling institutional investors, equipment manufacturers, lenders, and farmers in connection with complex farmland acquisitions; sales and financing matters; grain handling; equipment manufacturing; and general farming operational and compliance matters.
Prior to joining Messerli Kramer, Jonathan spent a year as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Robert D. Tiffany of the Hubbard County District Court from 2010-2011.
