Breaking Barriers and Building Trust: Lessons in LGBTQ+ Mindfulness

The Intellectual Property Institute at Mitchell Hamline School of Law recently hosted a CLE during Pride Week 2019 entitled “Breaking Barriers and Building Trust: Lessons in LGBTQ+ Mindfulness”. Attorney Vija Brookshire, a member of Messerli Kramer’s Family Law group, was part of a panel that provided insights and tools to help the over 40 practicing attorneys in attendance better communicate with and understand members of the LGBTQ+ community, including how to build trust with clients who identify as members of the transgender community.
