We operate like a corporation with an experienced non-attorney CFO, who helped restructure our compensation system to reward attorneys at higher percentages than any other firm in the city, while keeping billing rates lower than any of our competitors, giving us a marketing advantage over our peers. We believe in transparency at both the attorney and staff levels, holding employee-wide quarterly meetings to include and update all members of the Messerli Kramer team, bolstering our firm’s culture and making all employees feel in-the-know. We staff our attorney teams responsibly to keep workflow fair and balanced. And perhaps more than anything else, we believe in accountability, and we’ve worked hard to ensure our attorneys and staff are just good people. We do great work, and we have a ton of fun doing it.
