The Minnesota Newspaper Association recently named Sandy Neren, an attorney in our Government Relations group in St. Paul, as an honorary lifetime member. Sandy, who has been their chief lobbyist for more than 30 years, is the first individual in the history of the Association, which was founded in 1867, to receive this distinction.
The Minnesota Newspaper Association is the voluntary trade association of all general-interest newspapers in the State of Minnesota, acting on behalf of the newspaper press of the state, representing its members in the legislature and in court, managing local/regional/national newspaper advertising placement, operating a press release service, and working to enhance the quality of the state’s newspapers.
