League of Minnesota Cities Attorney Joins Messerli & Kramer Government Relations Team

Messerli & Kramer P.A. is pleased to announce that Patrick Hynes will join its 13-member Government Relations Group in St. Paul, effective December 1, 2015. Hynes has served as Intergovernmental Relations Counsel for the League of Minnesota Cities since 2011. He began his career in various offices and divisions of the Minnesota Legislature, including six years in the Minnesota Senate. He went on to five years in private legal practice, focusing on business counsel and litigation.

Hynes’ experience includes public policy development, lobbying, expert testimony in legislative committees and drafting and analysis of legislation and amendments. He has served the League’s and its 832 member cities’ legal and public policy interests at the Minnesota Legislature and with state agencies.

“Mr. Hynes has over 15 years of experience advising clients and elected officials in legal and public policy arenas to bring about solutions for complex issues.
