Mark Larson is a Shareholder who has been with the firm for over 40 years. Mark focuses his practice on corporate, business, and tax law, with an emphasis in the general representation of exempt organizations and non-profit providers of health care, senior living and social services. Much of his work involves assisting these organizations with financing and development activities and complex business transactions, often involving real estate.
Mark also works with entrepreneurial businesses in multiple industries including technology, health care, real estate, construction, medical device, product distribution, manufacturing, hospitality, and services. Mark assists companies and their owners with structuring transactions, negotiating contracts, and closing business deals including mergers, acquisitions, and equity investment transactions; planning and organizing new entities, ventures, and projects; and providing general counsel on legal matters integral to operations and finance. He has served as borrower’s counsel on many tax-exempt revenue bond financings and other forms of financing.
With all of his clients, Mark pays attention to the practical consequences of any course of action and takes a thoughtful and analytical approach to solving problems and achieving results.
Mark was instrumental in creating the firm’s Business Services group where he acted as Chair for many years. He was also a member of the firm’s Board of Directors and has served in numerous leadership roles.
