Mary Anderson has over 32 years of experience as a paralegal in real estate and financing, including residential real estate development and sales; commercial real estate sales, acquisitions, and development; 1031 tax deferred exchanges; and financing and leasing transactions. She prides herself on the ability to understand the broad picture and at the same time attend to the many details required to successfully complete complex, multi-party commercial real estate transactions. Mary’s work includes review and analysis of due diligence documents such as title reports, surveys and environmental reports; identification and resolution of title, survey and real estate related issues; drafting purchase and sale agreements and land use documents including development agreements, easement and restrictive covenants, conveyance documents and other agreements as required; and preparing for and conducting closings. Mary relies heavily on her organizational and customer service skills to ensure seamless communication with attorneys, their clients, and third parties including borrowers, lenders, title agents and underwriters, surveyors, contractors and vendors, and government officials.
Under attorney supervision, Mary works closely with leasing brokers, property owners and managers to draft commercial leases, estoppel certificates, subordination agreements and related leasing documents.
Mary also provides support to the Divorce & Family Law, Estate Planning & Probate and Business Litigation attorneys including title review and analysis; drafting of deeds, summary real estate disposition judgments, trust certificates and affidavits; mechanic’s liens, partial releases and satisfactions of mortgages; judgments and related documents.
