As a member of the Banking and Finance group at Messerli Kramer, Meghan Marty focuses her practice in the areas of commercial and tax credit-based financing and banking operations.  Meghan documents complex loan transactions and effectively negotiates financing structures to ensure that her client’s needs and goals are met.

Prior to joining Messerli Kramer, Meghan worked for a local community bank where she gained first-hand knowledge of internal banking procedures and regulations, as well as all facets of the loan process—from origination and credit underwriting, to maturity and collections.

Representative Experience

  • Represented lender in a $7.4 million tax increment financing bridge loan transaction to a borrower for use in several layers of financing with a combined value of $40 million to acquire and construct a 206-unit multi-family housing project.

  • Represented lender in a $13 million loan transaction to a group of over fifteen Tenancy in Common borrowers for the acquisition of four medical office buildings valued at $22 million.

  • Represented lender in a federal historic, state historic and low income housing tax credit loan transaction to borrower, using permanent and bridge loans, to acquire and rehabilitate a 120 year-old building into a multi-family affordable housing project.
