This Corporate Associate position will be housed in our renowned Corporate and M&A group.
Minneapolis Office Position Details
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant / Paralegal to support our Trusts & Estates practice. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of administrative and substantive legal work, with a strong emphasis on drafting and document development.
General Responsibilities
Drafting & Legal Document Management
- Draft, revise, and finalize legal documents, including estate planning documents, probate filings, and correspondence
- Proofread and ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with court and client standards
- Work closely with attorneys to develop and refine documents from initial draft through execution/filing
Trusts & Estates Support
- Assist with probate and estate administration matters
- Prepare and update estate planning documents and related materials
- Assist with document organization and preparation
- Conduct basic legal research and assist attorneys with case development
Administrative & Operational Support
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, hearings, and deadlines
- Maintain document management systems and client files
- Assist with billing
- Provide general administrative support, including expense processing
Position Expectations
- Strong drafting, proofreading, and document production skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attorneys and other team members
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Requirements
- 3+ years of legal experience in an LAA, paralegal, or hybrid role
- Significant experience drafting legal documents required
- Experience in Trusts & Estates strongly preferred
- High school diploma required; paralegal certificate or related education preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with document management systems and e-filing
- Familiarity with court rules, procedures, and legal terminology

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $65,000 – $90,000 (depending on experience) + discretionary bonus
