Jeanne Morris is an attorney in MK’s Estate Planning and Probate group. She focuses her practice on estate planning, disability planning, probate, trust administration, and business succession planning. Jeanne works closely with individuals, families, and business owners to develop practical legal strategies that protect their interests, preserve assets, and plan for the future.

Known for her strong advocacy and negotiation skills, Jeanne works to achieve positive outcomes for her clients while maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity. Her ability to relate to people and build lasting relationships has been an important part of her practice throughout her career.
Jeanne assists clients with wills, trusts, financial powers of attorney, health care directives, guardianships, conservatorships, and asset transfer strategies. She also guides personal representatives and trustees through probate and trust administration, helping them navigate the process of gathering and distributing assets, addressing debts and taxes, and carrying out the wishes of the deceased. In addition, Jeanne provides general legal counsel to business owners on matters including contracts, real estate, employment matters, business formation, business sales and purchases, and succession planning.
Jeanne began practicing law in the Twin Cities in 1986 and established Morris Law Firm in 1996. Her years in general practice provided her with broad legal experience and the ability to address a variety of client needs. In 2024, she joined Lommen Abdo, expanding the resources available to her clients and allowing her to focus more fully on practicing law.
