She also has experience briefing and arguing precedential questions before the Minnesota Court of Appeals, giving her a nuanced understanding of appellate practice and persuasive legal writing.
Justine’s legal career began with a formative role as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Catherine A. Trevino of the 10th Judicial District in Chisago County, Minnesota. In that capacity, she assisted with legal research, opinion drafting, and case management—experience that enriched her appreciation for judicial perspective and sharpened her analytical skills.
