Lou Colasanti, a member of Messerli Kramer’s Business Litigation group, focuses his practice on civil litigation, including general civil litigation matters and workers’ compensation defense. He brings a diverse legal background and a practical perspective to his work, informed by experience across multiple areas of law.
Prior to joining Messerli Kramer, Lou worked as a Criminal Defense Associate Attorney at Sand Law. His previous experience includes serving as a Foreign Service of Process Office Assistant for the Civil Action Group, a Case Manager for Midwest Disability Law Firm, and a Public Defense Intern for the Wright County Public Defender’s Office.
Lou earned his Bachelor of Arts in Advertising/Public Relations and Criminal Justice from Loyola University Chicago and his Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
Outside the office, Lou enjoys hunting, hiking, martial arts, and traveling. He also values spending quality time with his family.
