At Messerli Kramer, Patrick Messmer represents lenders in commercial lending transactions, including construction loans, perm loans, bridge loans, asset-based loans, and bond financing transactions. These loans often involve tax credits, sometimes in complex and intricate ways. Patrick is frequently called on to use his depth of experience in an array of tax credit areas – from Low-Income Housing Tax Credits to Historic Tax Credits to renewable energy tax credits available in solar and wind projects.
Patrick also has experience representing developers, owners, landlords, and tenants in acquisitions, sales, leasing and financing all types of commercial real estate, including redevelopment projects, mixed-use buildings, retail centers, and industrial sites.
